The story
Pasture-raised, grass-fed lamb from Grey County Ontario, raised using regenerative agriculture practices
Buschbeck Farms sits in the Grey Highlands of central Grey County, Ontario — a family operation run by Andreas Buschbeck with a clear philosophy: raise animals the way nature intended, and let the quality speak for itself.
Their lambs are pasture-raised and grass-fed on natural pastures, with all feed grown locally on the farm. No GMOs, no hormones, no growth stimulants of any kind. The farm uses regenerative agriculture practices, keeping their environmental footprint small while producing lamb with full traceability from pasture to package.
By giving their animals ample space and natural living conditions, the need for antibiotics is virtually eliminated — not managed around, but genuinely unnecessary. Buschbeck Farms is certified by Global Animal Partnership (GAP) and is a member of Ontario Sheep and the Ontario Federation of Agriculture.
When you order lamb from Northern Raised, it comes from this farm. One family, one county, one uncompromising standard.
